The FortyNine FiftyOne Couple
Right there in Pleasanton.
I found them- its my friend Gladys and her husband Jay. I stayed with them and some friends this weekend and one image sticks in my mind regarding this couple:
We were driving back from the city. As we all were dosing off I was sitting in the back looking at her husband who was looking at his wife drive. I thought maybe they were talking so he was looking towards her for her nexy reply, but no. She was simply driving not even realizing that he was looking…he would turn away and then look at again at her. I thought to myself wow, what adoration. As we kept on driving, he started dosing off…and she eventually looked over and closed his mouth since he fell asleep with this mouth open. I thought, for some strange reason, it was just adorable.
Really…adoring another even while sleeping? Its definitely possible I am just not there yet.
I used to date a boy who loved to watch me sleep…and at that age I thought it might have sounded creepy but seeing it years later between a husband and wife- it makes me reconsider if this is what true adoration is like.
